Comprehensive Eye Care
At Glacier Eye Clinic, our goal is to help ensure your eye health, maintain excellent vision, and connect you with the eyecare you may need. Our outstanding and skilled team of board-certified optometrists provide precisely that kind of service, customized to your needs.
The Glacier Eye optometry team offers thorough, comprehensive eye exams to provide you with a variety of services, including but not limited to
Measuring for glasses and contact lenses
Eyelid and ocular surface disease including blepharitis, allergy, and dry eye
Screening, management, and, when needed, referral for more serious eye disease
Our optometrists are excited to visit with you and provide appropriate treatment, referral, or reassurance about the health of your eye. As with all health care, screening and prevention are important for maintaining long term eye health. We recommend all adults have routine exams beginning at age 40 and every 2-3 years thereafter. Beginning at age 65, these exams should happen more frequently, ideally every 1-2 years. The interval may vary based on family history and other risk factors, or if an active problem arises. Additional eye exam recommendations can be found at the American Optometric Association website and the American Academy of Ophthalmology website.
Glacier Optical provides a full range of contact lenses and glasses for all needs and lifestyles. Our highly experienced staff can help you choose the correct type of vision correction for your visual needs. We also offer a variety of specialty contacts, including advanced scleral contact lenses.
